What I like best about PPI

Preferred Personnel always strives to do the right thing in every situation. I take pride in working for a company with such great business ethics. I can’t imagine a more fun place to work. I mean, Santa Claus doesn’t visit every business in town on his Harley-Davidson.

Why I am HR Director for PPI

Upon learning that PPI is a family business, a candidate once commented to me, “It must be nice to marry into a job.” I was offended at the time, but now realize it was a blessing. I was given an opportunity to do work that matters. It matters to our candidates and it matters to our clients.

What’s on my iPod

Rock (AC/DC, Tool, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Pantera) Country (Robert Earl Keen, Cory Morrow, Toby Keith) Christian (Skillet, Flyleaf, Casting Crowns, Switchfoot) Many others (Jewel, Enigma, Inner Circle, Jimmy Buffett, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Maroon 5, 311….shall I go on?)

My favorite quote

“Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.”
~Henry Ford, American Industrialist

My interests outside of PPI

Spending time with my family dominates my time when I am not studying. My husband and I love almost all sports and rarely miss the Cowboys or Rangers. The kids also keep us busy with football, cheerleading, gymnastics, and scouts. I love my church.

Special talent

I don’t know that it qualifies as a special talent, but I love to cross-stitch. My youngest daughter and I spend a lot of time being “crafty”.
