Merlene Cox, CPC

Merlene has worked as an Executive Recruiter since 2001, specializing in the oil and gas, accounting and insurance industries. She currently supervises Preferred Personnel's new ventures recruiting group and is developing new consulting services for PPI to better serve our client companies and candidates.  Additionally, Merlene works as a Consultant for Right Management specializing in "corporate downsizing" or layoffs.

Merlene is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, and the National Association of Personnel Services.  She is a Certified Personnel Consultant and is a Birkman Certified Consultant.

Prior to entering the recruiting and consulting arena she received a BA in Psychology and worked as a director for a national non-profit organization, responsible for recruiting and training volunteers, staff and board members.

Merlene prides herself in her West Texas roots; she combines traditional qualities with education and a love of helping people at all levels to successful transition into their next career move.
